| Our mastering philosophy...
Mastering should fulfill the artist’s sonic and creative vision and complement the work done in the recording and mixing process. The mastering process includes assembly and editing of final mixes as well as equalization and dynamics processing to enhance the audio image. At Dream Vision, care is taken in every single stage of the mastering process to ensure the highest signal integrity - the result is a sonically superior master with consistent dynamics and equalization that is ready for duplication.
We use the latest software & hardware to ge the best result, Our favourite plugs that we have used alot latest 3 years is the oustanding serie from WAVES. These plug-ins can provide a very natural and warm tone to your mixes. The latest serie from them is called Diamond & Mercury and have great tube-EQ, 16 band Multi Maximizer, Ultra Maximizer. We also sometimes use a TC Finalizer for mastering but we have found the WAVES plug ins to provide better accuracy over the sound picture.
Our technical gear for listening is a precise hifi system with B&W
Speakers with a NAD amplifier to get a clean and natural / true sound.
